Here are some of the things we care about!

Vita-water is a member of the Conservation Alliance.  The Alliance donates 100% of dues to grassroots environmental groups working to protect threatened wild lands and biodiversity.  Last year over 1 million dollars was donated toward these efforts.

Vita-Water Recycle Program:

We want to encourage individuals to take an active role in saving the environment. For every empty Vita-water bottle returned to the distribution center or a Vita-water drop box, the company will donate 2 cents to the Vita-water environmental research grant project.  This fund provides independent activists and researchers with financial assistance in which to make positive changes in our environment.  We feel it is important to support those who desire to protect habitat, wildlife, and biodiversity.  If you would like information on volunteering, making a donation, or applying for a grant, please e-mail your name and address to vitawatercares@vitawater.com.  An information packet will be sent to you containing our company priorities and grant distributions.

Did you know...

that our bodies are made up of over 70% water?  Water forms the basis of our blood, digestive fluids, urine, and perspiration.  It is also contained in bone, fat and lean muscle.

What does water do?

-Regulates body temperature

-Carries nutrients and oxygen to your cells

-Aids the detoxification process which helps avoid disease

-Prevents dehydration

How much water should you be consuming each day?

Generally 6-8 glasses (150 ml each) a day is sufficient, however everyone has different needs.  It depends on a variety of factors such as:

-Metabolism

-Weather

-Activity levels

-Types of food consumed

What are the causes of dehydration?

Dehydration occurs when the body receives less water than is needs.  This can happen from

-Increased sweating

-Diarrhea or vomiting

-Increased urination

Here at VitaWater we are concerned about the environment just as much as you, therefore we are proud to be aligned with the National Resources Defense Council

The Conservation Alliance is a non-profit organization of outdoor businesses whose collective annual membership dues support grassroots citizen-action groups and their efforts to protect wild and natural areas. One hundred percent of its member companies' dues go directly to diverse, local community groups across the nation.

The National Center for Environmental Research (NCER) is one of five research organizations that comprise EPA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD). NCER’s mission is to support high-quality research by the nation’s leading scientists that will improve the scientific basis for decisions on national environmental issues and help EPA achieve its goals.

With headliners Trey Anastasio, Dave Matthews and Friends, and Bob Dylan,  and over 90 artists and attractions supporting, Bonnaroo 2004 drew 90,000 loyal fans and further critical acclaim.
